Oh yea, about 30. Every 2 inches or so around the perimeter and in the center. I didnt want to have a swimming pool on my trunk. Its sealed with 4 layers of Spar boat varnish for weather proofing as well

Ditto, kinda disappointed with it as it does nothing to reduce wind noise. It looks COOL, but cool aint worth $80 IMHO.

Any reccomendations for an 09 Impreza hatch for around or under $200? On a budget, but need the Roof rack

After reading a lot of the thread, OEM is a no go for me, im too scared to but a $1.5k bike on my car using the OEM racks that will wobble.

+1. It completely muted noticeable sounds at freeway speeds...almost forgot I even had a rack on top.

I have the OEM bike rack for my rumblefish one and have had zero problems with it.

Really? I must be listening to the wrong sound then. I guess I'm complaining about it when the sunroof is open.

Pardon my ignorance (since I have an STi hatch which doesn't come with a SR), but does it have vortex generator find pop up when you open it? My caliber SRT had then and they made a huge difference.

OEM here with custom mounted Thule peloton racks. No wobble and no issues on long trips. My road bike is a Seven Alaris Ti and I'm not scared to put it up there.

Weird. When I went through the thread last night most OEM racks (08) (09-11) after the update had issues of wobbles due to the thinner design of the newer rack.

The only thing that wobbles on mine is the actual bike on the Yakima raptor, since it's not a fork mount rack.

Here's mine just got my Yakima base rack this weekend. I'll be throwing a kayak on top in a couple weeks for a river trip up north.
