Got to use my rack this weekend in Northern AZ. Went snowboarding and got 7-10" of snow overnight! Pretty sweet considering we were only expected 1-3".

I love it. Using the Rage crossbars and I hardly get any wind noise. Now I gotta find out how I can mount my spare and a shovel.

Forgot about this one of my wagon from this summer until it popped up on the Subie Stance FB page yesterday.

Hi Everyone,

First post on the forums!

Just got my 2014 Impreza Sport 2 weeks ago and about to install a used set of Yakima Fatcat6s on the OEM Aero Bars.

Does anyone have the same setup and has to use the tilt adapter because the bindings don't have enough clearance? If you're carrying 4 snowboards?

I tried searching for the answer but came up with nothing. Sorry if this has already been asked.

Thanks!

i have the yakima powder hound which also comes with the tilt adapter peices but i have yet to use them, i've only ever had a max of two boards on there at one time(facing up)and two sets of skiis(facing down) so everything fit no problem..

i'm looking for the 08-10 oem crossbars for my '14 STI...does anyone know the part number? can you still buy them new or do I just have to find a set of used ones? finding used is tough, how can I tell the difference?

They're supposed to be stiffer than the new ones. I have the thinner style and they do flex quite a bit with my mountain bike.

I've read about people running a dowel or metal rod in the newer ones to stiffen them up. No idea of the logistics as I have Yakima crossbars.

Yeah, I ran a wooden dowel in the front one. We'll see how it works.
