If you are talking about making sure there are no leaks around and injector, i used epoxy. If you are trying to seal the entire hole, welding is your best option.

Some washers and o rings should do it(with a nozzle or without). you probably don't want apoxy in your engine. On the same note, it might not be the best idea to glue anything in the engine compartment. Most apoxies can't take the heat, and might end up drying out and breaking off or something. Course I did know this guy back in the day with a cracked block that glued it back together(seriously)........

Sealing a meth hole in an IC
It might help if you gave us enough info so we have a clue what your trying to do!

Where is the hole, how big is it, why do you have a hole in the intercooler in the first place, (did the methanol corrode a hole or is this a hole drilled for an install that you are removing? )

Remember --- who, what, when, where !!

There should be a type of plug/fitting at home depot and/or lowes which should be the perfect size and work really well. You could probably just put a screw in it too(might not be such a good idea), or get it welded. Imo jb weld(or any kind of glue) is a bad idea......

People do lots of things, and that's probably one of the reasons jb weld is still around. Why glue something when ya don't have to? In my mind, there are only two good reasons to use glue to hold your block or anything in your engine compartment together. The first and best would be that you can't afford anything else. The second would be if you're trying to prove that it will hold. We know a fitting like the nozzle that was in there but a plug will hold, never break off, and someone could put the nozzle back if they wanted. Also, 500F is not hot.

weld on an aluminum 1/8npt bung. seal it with a 1/8npt plug.

you do not want a bolt letting go and getting sucked through.

and if the hole is underneath, you will not have the option of checking it frequently.
