Question Legacy Outback Headers

I own a 97 Legacy outback 2.5, I want to put headers on it. Do the headers for a legacy fit a legacy outback? is the rest of the exhaust system identical to the legacy? I cant seem to find the answer anywhere

I also want to get new motor mounts? are they the same as the legacy 2.5?

Headers:

ANY headers made to fit N/A EJ series engines built since 95 will fit, whether Legacy or Impreza. Do a search to learn all about the Unequal/Equal lenght options.

The rest of the exhaust is identical to a regular Legacy in terms of routing. Any exhaust made to fit a 95-99 Legacy will fit your car.

Any EJ series motor mounts will fit on your car. STi or otherwise, they'll fit.

just search for STi motor mounts and you can find them. Most vendors carry them.

Sweet I just ordered borla headers and sti motor mounts from the subaru store.

Cant wait to get them on

Now as for the pulley, I thought I read somewhere that you have to replace the belts? Is that true? Does anyone know where to order these belts?

only if you get the underdriven pulley, you can use your stock belts if you opt not to go underdriven.

P.S. you could have gotten EL headers for about $30 more than the borlas. borlas make your car sound nice, but dont have too much to offer besides sound. but, its your money.

I got the Borlas for $300, are EL headers better (performance wise) than borla?

I was going for the HP gains.... I hope I mad ethe right choice, everyone that has bought them seems to be happy with them.
