Question Best place to buy stock head gaskets?

I'm rebuilding the 2.5 in my 97 Legacy GT wagon and need to swap the heads from my old motor to the new motor, a 85k junkyard short block. Where's a good place to get stock parts on-line?
Also is there anything I should be on the look out for while it's this far apart?
The new block appears to be a phase II from what I've read here.

Thanks, New member

theres a HG kit for the phase I motor on ebay right now, but you need the SOHC hg kit......havent seen one of those on ebay yet. but i know that you can use the DOHC HG on the SOHC block. if you use the SOHC gasket, you will get a bump in compression ratio, not enough to make you run higher grade fuel though. replace all the seals. if you dont know the condition of the new shortblock, i would buy new piston rings, main and rod bearings and rebuild it. unless you need to have your car back on the road A.S.A.P.

Do I need to get SOHC HG set even if the phase II motor had DOHC heads on it already? It's from a 97 outback and going into my 97 GT. I'll take a bump up in compression if I can get it. I'm thinking of throwing on some headers and possibly some mild cams, while I got it out.

You need the phase 1 DOHC headgasket kit.
