Default spotted STi in E-town

No big deal… but it was a female driving. Refreshing to see a woman drivng an enthusiast car. Spotted tonight in the downtown Save-on-foods parking lot… just wondering if it was a board member. WRB with gold rims. I was the guy with the steel grey ’06 STi.

Funny thing I think I saw the same car/woman driver, I was traveling west on 137 ave/99 st and noticed a WRB STi driven by a woman with a baby seat in the back. She was driving pretty spirited, I was in my IS300 and had no chance to catch up before she turned off.

There is some 70 year old guy in Edmonton with a bug eye and a roof vent and Petter's wing on his car - and he drives on gravel all the time.

Oh ya - that's my DAD!!!!

He is also in Finland at the WRC right now - ah to be retired and have a huge amount of frequent flyer points left from your job.

That's your Dad?!?

I met him once at Tire Warehouse (he was getting new gravel tires) and we talked for at least a half an hour.

Nice man, and you can tell he likes to drive!

The next stage event is Pacific Forest Rally (PFR) in Merit, BC on Oct. 13 & 14.

There is a Rally X this Sunday at Castrol Park that if I get all my work done I will be going to.

As for a ride - find me a nice closed section of gravel with some corners and I will give you a ride.

When was this? If it was in June, it could have been my wife when we still lived up in Edmonton. She tends to drive "spirited". I know because half the gas tank is gone after she comes back from one of her drives.
