Arrow Coming to CO, Now!

Hey guys,

I'm leaving Cali in a few minutes to come out there to visit. Just maybe I'll be able to hook up with some of you guys

I should be arriving in Steamboat on Friday (tomorrow/today), whatever. Be there all weekend visiting friends from College days, good all CMC-Alpine Campus

Then I'll be in Boulder/Denver area & Erie to be exact. Probably head out Wed./Thurs. on my way to Vegas for SEMA.

Anyone from here going to SEMA? Maybe we could caravan or something.

I'll check back here this weekend to see if you guys care

Hopefully, we can make something work.

-Adam

Question

What times saturday & sunday will you be around. I'm heading down to Colorado Springs to pick up my Jeep on saturday, but I'll be around the rest of the weekend. Cheers.

(RS-t, eh? Ah, the memories. I had a silver RS-t)

Thumbs up

Well, I'm here in Steamboat now, got in last night. I should be heading down to Boulder/Erie area on Sunday. I'll check back again later, so we can possibly meet up sometime.

David, sounds good, I'll check on that thread.

So where do you guys usually meet up? JCS would had been a good place, but I guess that can't happen. Any other ideas?

I've got an idea...stop in Ft. Collins and buy my ground controls j/k

I'd suggest meeting in Ft. Fun, but it's pretty short notice and would have to be late as some people work till 7ish.

Strepto: I may just do that. I'm down in Erie now for a few days. Just off of Hwy 52 near I-25. I use to do that run Erie-Ft. Fun very often, so I may be down for that.

Brat: Maybe I'll see some of you guys around, if I make down that way.

I want to look into that AWD Dyno in Boulder. Anyone have any info on that?

There is an AWD Dynopak dyno at a BMW shop about 5-10 miles east of Boulder ... kind of on the outskirts of Denver. I can't remember the name of it though, sorry. Don't know if it's much help or not [heh]. But there pricing is $175 to get the car hubs bolted up and the rest of the first hour you have your car on then it's like $75 per hour after that.

Hey you still want to meet up somewhere up there for the trip to SEMA? Just curious.

David,

Thanks for the info.

Yeah, I think it would be a good idea to meet up. What time would you expect to be on I-70 & where? You're message said it would be an 800 mile trip I just drove 1000 miles out here a few days ago.

I've made the trip to Vegas before when I lived in Steamboat, I believe it took us 12 hours.

We'll have to keep in touch.

Exclamation

What's your schedule like tomorrow guys?

Strepto: If you were to come down this way, you could bring those coil-overs with you

Come to think of it, we could have a midweek-mini-installfest. My GF's Dad has a Huge Garage/Shop. So, If I were to buy those coil-overs, I could install them tomorrow.

Woulda Ya guys think? Ideas?

I'm free after 11am. I guess I could bring all the stuff down. Does your g/f's dad have a big press? I need to get some balljoints pressed into my adjustable controll arms and have been too lazy to go to a machine shop

Gang -

Tonight is Pub Nite at the Mountain Sun, so I doubt I'd be able to make it anywhere before 7:30 or so. I'm game for meeting up with you guys sometime after that. Ro - I'd like to see your new ride. Cheers.

Well, as usual I'm running out of time to get things done.

Strepto: apparently, he has a press, but it's Not a Big hydraulic one. I'll give you a call, maybe I can make a quick run up your way.

As for meeting up later with everyone, I don't know if it's possible now. I'm supposed to meet some college friends tonight near Brighton. But, I'll see how it goes.

Braden: Thanks for the info, Grant from Autosport called me this a.m. We both agreed that there was clearly not enough time nor totally necessary right now before we all go to SEMA. They're leaving tomorrow a.m. also.

Cheers,
Adam
