PDX tuning had a lot of great, pertinent info on the Red... works best with the bigger 8cm housing that's hard as hell to find. Member mikaust had one as well.

Also talk to Blinguskahn, he has ran both 7cm and 8cm housings on his FPRed.

So tell me this, what mods do you already have that give you 320 whp? Are you sure you aren't talking crank hp? I'm not aware of anyone around here that has those numbers with the stock turbo, even with tuning. Guys running with a 20g, fmic, tbe, fuel pump and other supporting mods are getting there only with a race gas tune. I'm confused.

If your only after 400whp, then I'd be looking at the GT30R rotated or the Green if your going low cost. FPRed is more suitable for 450+whp but has more lag. Still a decent turbo. Have one sitting on my dining room table right now...

Now I understand how you got those numbers, and that it was on a dynojet. We've got a mustang around here. You always get lower numbers on a mustang than a dynojet.

Hopefully this weekend. All Reds come with the 7cm these days. If you can find a 8cm housing (pretty rare), that would be the ticket. Somebody was selling a SZ49 8cm turbo and I thought about buying it and swapping the housing.
