Default Weight of 2006 WRX wheels?

Has anybody weighed the '06 wheels yet? Curious...

I heard somewhere around 20 lbs. It's not as light as 16" rims.

The stock wheel and tire combo seemed significantly heavier then my ultralegs (17s) with 235 Kuhmo SPT's.. could have been my perception though.

Yes... one the 17" RE92s alone seems to weigh 20 lbs.

Well, when I find out I'll post...

Ha... As much as I like the design of the wheel, I've been trying to convince myself that the wheels "go" with the overall design-- I'd really like a wheel that's more serious-looking. Not to mention the metro in me tells me that silver wheels clash with CGM

Buuut, if they are indeed this light, to buy a "better" wheel will be expensive...

Or you could get some Rotas, save yourself a bundle, make your car look a lot better, and have lots of money left over for other mods. Not that I'm trying to be a bad influence here or anything!

Heh--Thanks! I wondered if anyone new where that quote came from. Now that I've 'jacked my own thread...

Chinatown is a favorite, a fine cautionary tale as well as just plain good movie-making. I think everybody ought to see it for a glimpse into the depth of human depravity...
