Default Congratulations Ryan!!

Ryan,

Just wanted to wish you congratulations on the birth of your baby girl. You announced it in another thread which got locked before I had a chance to comment. Also, first 2 weeks off in 5 years.......man you gotta quit doing that, you're a family man now. Good luck with the sleep man, been there and got the t-shirt...twice .

Thanks, that thread wasn't being very productive, so I shut it down. Anyhow, yeah, my wife and I are both very excited (when we have a chance to sleep). Though, really, we still manage to get at least 6-8 hours... with a gap every few hours for feeding. She's a really easy baby from what we've heard from others.

Here's the pic again, so it will live in a happier thread:

That was her at 2 weeks old.

Very cute.

My only word of advice (you'll get a lot from others) is to read "Healthy sleep habits, Happy baby". Excellent book and I figure it's the mostly the reason our kids are so well behaved.

BTW, you just couldn't suppress the editor in you, huh. What's the matter; you didn't like my thread title.

It didn't adequately explain what the thread was about...and it wasn't even a complete sentence.

She slept from 11pm to 5 am this morning, then went back to sleep and was still down when I left for work this AM. So far, no complaints about her sleep patterns. (oh, and we attend a weekly parenting group run by our local hospital)
