Transmission was shifting perfectly without any grinding at the time RalliSpec installed my STI gearset w/dual cone syncro on first (Love that new Gearset). The drainplug magnet never collected anything other than a few fines since the car was new. This OE gearset is wrapped in the box just as RalliSpec sent it back, and when I looked at a couple of gears I saw no wear or rounding on any of the teeth or dog surfaces (but I'm no expert at this).

The gearset I purchased was for 99-06 WRX, so it looks like they must be common among all those years in the 5 speed.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to put pic's in these posts, so get me your email address and I'll send pics. Also, I see you are in Knoxville like me. You are welcome to come see the parts and with a local pickup you can avoid the approximately $30 built into the price of the clutch for shipping.

1. Stock Clutch w/Throwout Bearing; $80 shipped to US 48.
2. Stock Flywheel (Lighter of the Stock); $90 shipped to US 48.

What kind of driving did you do for 37k miles(normal daily, aggressive daily, autox/track, drag, etc)? How much shipped if buy both clutch and flywheel together? Thanks.
-Joe

The 37k miles were to-from work (mostly highway), occasional trip to Home Depot, travel between Knoxville and Baton Rouge, with 3 Solo II autocrosses. I just retired and plan to be doing more autocross so I had a better gearset installed in the tranny (has taller first with syncros) and while in there put in a heavy duty clutch.

I have photos of the flywheel I can send to you; looks just like the pressure plate with the factory finish very evident and no burn areas. These things are so heavy shipping is almost the dominant cost, but I'll deliver the pair in the US 48 for $145.

Gear Set Sale Status: Currently have a buyer who says he is mailing payment to me (I don't use paypal). If the payment arrives in a few days as expected, the gearset is sold and I will mark the top post of this list that way. If no payment comes, there are two others who have said they want the set that I will contact in order of their telling me they wanted it.
