Angry Arghhh....Guess what I found on my intercooler?

I popped the hood to check the oil level when I noticed a freaking plastic spoon on the intercooler! I have no idea how it got there unless someone put in deliberately. :monkey: What's up with that?

Please tell me how to make and install a mesh wire screen for the scoop so that this will not happen again. Thanks!

Darn, I thought you were going to be the first to report something cool. Like a vampire bat....

Do a little search, several have done this.

Maybe the intercooler sucked in a small child eating ice cream, and the spoon is all thats left...

You know what would really be cool?

If someone found a nice thong on their IC.

This thread reminds me that I need to pull the screen off of mine to get all the friggin moths and crap off my intercooler that I collected on my last road trip. Most of them didn't find their way past the screen, but a few did.

As far as information on making the screen. There is a good writeup here: http://www.scoobymods.com/mods/wrx/ic-screen.php

"If someone found a nice thong on their IC"

Sounds better than a bat, and more fun too!

A vampire bat wearing a thong is what I wanna see. Maybe you had one and he at the ice-cream eating child and just left the spoon, then flew off.

Funny, my friend had a giant moth stuck on his intercooler. On the back of the hood scoop, you can see where the thing had splatted and everything. Pretty funny. Bad day for the moth though.
