Shops to install parts in Chicago area?

Hiya.
There is a group buy going on for an up-pipe and price seems good so I would like to get one. The problem is, I live in an apt and I'll probably get kicked out if I start spraying coolant all over the parking lot (and also it's getting awfully cold around here.) These are the times when I wish for a garage... Anyway, is there any shop around Chicago area where I can have this installed? for a reasonable price, of course... or maybe someone from the group can help me?
I live in Skokie but work at Northwestern University so I prefer northeast suburb but if I have to, I can drive pretty much anywhere in greater Chicago area.

That's more than an hour drive from where I am.
Do you have any price in mind installing an up pipe?
and do I get any discount if I stand next to you, watch you work (and possibly offer you some beverages)

, i'd take mine to the dealer ship but dont know if i could trust em', but if not any good shop out there in our area that does a good job?

I do tune-ups for a reasonable price, If you interested
just stop in. I use genuie subaru parts no cheap stuff.
my hourly rate is 63.00/hr Call me if u would like my help.

Have you tried Duxler Tire? They're on Green Bay and Central St. in Evanston. Good guys, good shop rates. That up-pipe is a bear, from what I hear. Question: does the up-pipe remove a cat? If it does, Duxler probably won't do it.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately(or fortunately...) it does remove one of three cats.
Well, I guess Duxler's outta question then.
Would they do other stuffs that wouldn't be illegal such as putting a catback or alike?

Most shops will install a CARB approved exhaust system or 49 State street legal exhaust. when it comes to catless up-pipes they probably won't do it because of the chance of the penatly if the EPA was to ever find out. The fine IIRc is a minimum of $10,000 plus whatever damages they think you have done to the enviroment. That's the shops fine and i think the tech gets fined about $1k....IIRC. It's been a while but those figures ring in my head for some reason. But just remember most shops won't have anything to do with MIL(CE light) problems after installing someone elses parts.

Sure, Duxler will do stuff like cat-backs, suspensions, whatever. They're a great shop, too. Tell them Kevin sent you.
