Default Question about avcs and turbo banjo filters

Quick question, do the 06 wrx have the filters in the avcs lines connected to the heads and the one that goes to the turbo? Or did they pull them out late 04?

I've been searching and haven't been able to find a how to on getting doing the GBOD and the filters seeing as they're in the way and so is the fuel rail hard lines on the passenger side.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think the 06 wrx had them...and I don't think any of the usdm 2.0's had them

and the gbod are a real pita unless you have a bunch of different wrenches/rachet handles/sockets

I will, I was more concerned on a write up of removing the fuel rail on the passenger side along with the GBOD to get to those banjos. -_-

Thanks for your input Scotty. I got the passenger GBOD off but can't find the 3rd bolt on the driver side. My bpv bolt threads are sketchy, no leaks but don't wanna take em out. Need to take the time to tap them.

If the bolt is easily accessible with the top mount out it might be an excuse to finally tap em. I got a good set of wrenches. EZREDS! *ratcheting wrenches* my favorite wrenches.

But I might just be wastin my time just to get the banjo bolt filters that weren't there to begin with.

Just lookin for more i guess. Should I have to remove the fuel rail to access the passenger side banjo?

You said you don't think the 06 have them. I wanna KNOW, seeing as they're a problem, I like doing preventative maintenance work as often as possible and have full access to the Toyota shop and the minds of some of the most brilliant mechanics I know and I've now learned an itch for properly maintaining and diagnosing my vehicle. And I enjoy it.

Just makin sure I'm not pullin somethin fer nothin.
