Default Have a few questions for my 99 Wagon!

Just bought a 99 Impreza L Wagon, I love it. I have money to spend on it right now but I have some questions.

Is there any front lips what fit the stock bumper? Or do they specifically only fit the 2.5RS model's bumper?

Also, what exhaust do I buy? I mean, what will fit? Sedan? Coupe? I cant find an exhaust specifically for the wagon..
I searched in the exhaust thread and didnt really find anything for my year's wagon.

Thanks alot

Any exhaust, coupe, sedan, wagon, whatever, from 97-05, will fit. Specifically look for something in the 2.25" range, no bigger than 2.5". Stay away from any exhaust that says it's for a WRX, because it will be too big for your car.

Go with the 2.25" for your 2.2l.
BC Auto used to make a lip for the L bumper and Can. RS. They are in Toronto. I don't know if they have any left, but you could look for a used one...that is if you like the styling.

I'm running a stock WRX mid and axleback connected to my stock catpipe. It takes some wrangling but you can get it on there. The difference is definately notciable.

Time to upgrade on things that'll help you.

Exedy Stg1 clutch OR clutch replacement for 2.5L engines (2.2L stock clutch SUCK!)
20mm rear sway bar from WRX or the like
Perrin springs and KYB AGX struts
17" wheels with tires of choice
'05+ Legacy GT front brakes
rear disc conversion

then save for swap!

....because you know...I have a '99 L wagon too!

right now...mods are
2.5RS driveline w/ VLSD in the rear; 4.111FD, exedy stg1 clutchkit
20mm rear swaybar
EJ22T swap (still trying to get it to work)

next coming up mods are:
'05 LGT front brakes w/ rotors
18" wheels if I can't get '06 WRX wheels
STi Tarmac springs
KYB AGX struts

They can have fun too!
