I have a vf-37 turbo on my rs, I'm currently using the stock DP but I would like to find a better replacement. Non catted prefered, but I just need to know my options.

Zerosports, Prodrive, Scoobysport (I believe they make them in limited number), some other JDM brands...... all $$$ for being a brand and a rare item
I just bought a used helix catless DP for a good price, and we cut of the bellmouth section from my stock DP and welded it to helix then we put back all shielding and it looks like stock with the cat if you are looking from the engine bay!I also bought the twin scroll flange (I still have it somewhere if you decide to go this way) that you can use with non-twin scroll downpipes, but that requires more custom work as you can't just cut n weld since twin scroll is a different shape and you have to extend the diameter of the bellmouth |

The thing that I don't get is it's not a 'rare' Item in other countries. all overseas ver. 8 sti's came with the twin scroll IIRC.

Shipping them over here is what makes them rare...
Anyway, i'd just go custom if I were you, get the bellmouth section and use something else for piping. |

The only problem is that I still would like to keep the stock catted DP on the side for emissions.

by ALL I assume you imply JDM, as EDMs never came with twin scroll as for emissions.... aren't stock STI/WRX midpipes catted? |
