Default A shop to change spark plugs on a WRX for less than $200 in MIAMI,FL AREA

i called the subaru dealer before i reached 60K and i asked bird subaru how much they said like $230+. I know changing the spark plugs on the wrx engine is pain because of th removal of the battery and other stuff so does anyone know a good shop or mechanic in the area with experience changing the plugs on the WRX that would be less than LESS than $200... a lot less... i will have the plugs. its an 02 wrx

let me know ASAP if possible... thanks

Buy beer and pizza. Ask a local. It can be done in less than an hour. Where you located?

Do it yourself for the price of the plugs and 30 minutes time? It's really really easy.
Everything comes off with 10mm and 12mm wrenches. The only difficult part is having to use a couple of short extensions instead of one long one to reach the plug.

Yeah it's really not the horror story that most people make it out to be. Just time consuming because of all the stuff you have to take off. I wouldn't pay anyone to do it.

So yeah, I did mine in about 1 hr (including stopping to eat/drink). Don't see what the problem is, unless you don't have any tools or something. In that case, get some local Suby guys to help you out. Don't pay a grease monkey to do something like that....come on....

Quick job indeed. Spark plug socket, 9" of extension, some 10mm and 12mm sockets, a rubber hose to fit on the end of the plug, and a wrench. You're set.

30 minutes if you've done it before, an hour if you're fairly familiar with what how to turn the wrench.

It's easier if you're N/A, but it's not a huge difference either way.

I'm sorry but someone has to be laughing over their lunch break after someone forks over $200 plus for a plug change.

I can see if you have a vintage v12 Ferrari or something but wow...

It's a pretty standard quote for dealers from what I've heard. Absurd, I agree.
