Default Reverse Assist Option

My wifes B9 has reverse assist but we received no info on it or how it works. Anyone able to tell me how it is supposed to work or where to get that info? My Titan uses sonar and begins to beep and the beeps speed up as you get closer then go solid when close enough. The B9 so far chirps, beeps and will just beep continuously when close to an object or when even a small hill is behind it.

I have it and it is pretty simple. It emits a single chirp when you first put it into reverse. As you get closer to an object, the beeps begins to increase in frequency. The closer you are, the faster it beeps. Thats it. What yours is doing doesn't sound right.

I believe the B9 uses sonar technology also, BTW...

Did you check the glove box? There should be a small supplementary owner's manual in there. If there isn't, contact SOA, I'm sure they can send you or email you one.

Thanks all! I don't think it is working correctly. I'll check for the supplement tomorrow when we pick it up for the 3rd time. My wife took the B9 back to the dealer again today this time to have a functional remote car starter installed and they told her it was working. I asked her what it did and it does not sound like what you have mentioned. This dealership is really beginning to tick me off. This is yet another item to add to the list of things they bungled in delivery. It has been back to the dealership 3 times now to satisfactorily complete a simple delivery inspection and remote start install! Sorry, I digress.
