Nah, that guy is this little skinny bitch. He kept goin on about how he was this soul brother... that's when I bitch-slapped him and told him the easter bunny was fake. He cried and mumbled something about civics are way cool and he wishes he had one.

Does that go for Editors too?
This is one of our most Tech-heavy issues yet. If engine builds and tuning are your thing then you absolutley cannot miss this issue. The Zero to Hero update lays down some serious guide lines on what it takes to make some real NA power. Hopefully this will become one of the definitive sources for NA builders from here on out.

I was thumbing through my issue last night and found it quite interesting. I do know there used to be a company in AZ back in the day who had an N/A EJ25 motor package that was claimed to do 230hp. IIRC they also revved to @8krpm. If it weren't for driving the 06 I was tempted to build my old GF4 wagon up as an N/A car since it's just such a different feeling. BTW I'm suprised you haven't looked into doing a manifold either from the 06 that's dual plane which should help alittle more or if there's a custom one on the plans.

Maybe I should bring Project 06 to Subiefest and join the competition.

Actually, we were hoping it would be there for the Project Car Shootout. (Btw: our 1996 Legacy GT will win among the project cars, its just a matter of deciding second place at this point.)

We didn't want to get too exotic with the N/A. People with the money to do wierd stuff will do what they want to their cars regardless. We wanted this series to be an "every man" guide to N/A power. December should be an interesting wrap. (N02 bottle already in the trunk. Damn, that thing is HUUGE). Maybe we'll start playing with it some more after the basics are wrapped...

Depending on it's state of unrest around SEMA I'll see what I can do to get it up there.

Why is it that most of the cars featured in Subiesport are from the Seattle Area? You guys need to get out a little bit. Not to take anything away from this month's cover sti, but I have seen much more powerful, more well-rounded Subaru's out there.

Same reason why most Primedia cars are from the Southern California area, why most of the Modified cars are from the East Coast, and why most S3 cars are from the Florida/Georgia/Carolinas area. That's where the publications are based out of, so it's easier for staff photographers to shoot locally rather than travel across the country for one feature.

We're always on the lookout for good photographers...if you know of a car that's deserving of a feature, please don't hesitate to contact us and hopefully we have a photographer in the area who can shoot it.

True, there are many well-rounded STis out there. Stephanie basically has a nice Stage2+ car (Stage 2 stock turbo with some extras) and no, its not going to be the fastest but, it is interesting and the fact that she is a young, attractive woman in an industry run, for the most part, by men, is what is interesting. Read the article and wish she was your gf!

We do have lots of varried coverage though and if the mag was nothing but big-power STis you all would be bored in a hurry. We are blessed in the NW by having at least a half dozen Subaru-dedicated tuning shops that turn out big power cars almost every day. I know PDXTuning does at least one stage 4 car at least every week or so.

Now we have Kumakubo on-board so there will be some more news from Japan, as well as cool stuff from Australia. Thanks for reading.

We've been featuring cars from Australia for "years." But yea, always a regional slant toward locale of any publication. Have a nice STI from Atlanta slated for the next issue, fwiw.

I have plenty of cars that are non-mainstream/different down here. I know of at least two that really deserve some coverage. All I would need is the a-ok . Just wish the RWD EJ20 GL wagon hadn't died .
