Default A/C hissing not blowing cold air

it makes the sound like when you first turn on the ac and it sounds like its breathing then it starts throwing cold air and quiets down. but it continues to sound like its breathing/hissing and blows air thats only mildly cold hardly colder than the air outside. any ideas i could check out or try before i take it to the dealer?

You are probably low on freon and need a charge. Unless somewhere along the mod line you nicked a line and you have a leak. I'm having the same issue right now. Did a recharge and all was good for 3 days and now luke warm AC. Pretty sure I have a hole in my LP line which is $170. X 10
