Default Ecutek EasyECU / 04 WRX STi

I've searched the forums already and haven't really found an answer for my exact question yet. I drive an 04 STi that is very lightly modded (K&N Typhoon Intake & Megan Racing Catback exhaust) I'm thinking that I want to get some tunning done but am not exactly sure what would be the best fit for me. I'm looking at either Ecutek EasyECU, Ecutek ECU Reflash or Cobb AP.

I don't plan on switching maps often or doing my own tunning (at least not yet, maybe in the future when I'm more comfortable with tunning). However I do plan on adding a few more mods like a downpipe and maybe a carbon fiber driveshaft in the future, but thats about it (other than suspension stuff).

I live in Arizona and have access to Kingpin. What do you feel the best tunning option for me would be - Ecutek EasyECU, Ecutek ECU Reflash or Cobb AP? Or do you recommend that I wait, install the downpipe and then get a tune?

If you're planning to do the downpipe anytime soon, you should probably wait and tune then as you'll save the cost of 1 tune. You need a flash, and it doesn't matter which of Ecutek or Cobb that you go with... they accomplish the same thing so go with whichever your tuner recommends and/or is a better deal. The EasyEcu is not a different solution, only an add-on for Ecutek to allow you to flash different maps that were made by your tuner eg. a race gas map.

Either way you go for EM forget Kingpin. Since you're in AZ go directly to Dynocomp. They are way better then Kingpin! Dynocomp is in Scottsdale so I don't know how far that is from Phoenix, but if it was me, it would be worth the drive.
