Question JDM V7 suspension on 2003 WRX...

I did some searching but I couldnt find a straight answer to this question:

1. Will the suspension from a JDM V7 STI be a direct bolt-on to a 2003 WRX
2. How much of a drop will this give me on an otherwise stock suspension '03 WRX
3. Will the ride quality go to absolute hell

I was thinking of just a set of Tein H-Tech springs for a bit of a drop to make the car look less goofy and to stiffen things up a bit but I worry about doing springs without dampers. I drive this car in NYC alot so I dont want a crazy drop (1.5" drop in front at most) or super-stiff ride quality but this car is definately softer than I'd like it. I drove a couple of '04 STI's while searching for a car and I liked the ride on those with their stock suspensions.

The car in question:

I'm not a car n00b (this is my 3rd turbo and 2nd turbo/awd car and I've done plenty of weekend wrenching) but I am a sc00b n00b so have mercy

Very little - maybe 10mm or so

It will obviously be more aggressive than a WRX, but compared to an STi? No. Using lowering springs, however, may look cool, but it gives you less bump absorbing suspension travel. What that means to you depends on how bad the roads are where you drive.
