not bad. but still dont understand the point of CF, when you are rocking a near-stock motor and stock ride height . just my thoughts though.

although its def not what id do first, but i guess it makes the car look great and saves some weight. who knows, only psm-04 sti knows the answer

BTW how much was the paint job on your hood? Was is dry carbon to begin with, or did you shave off the laquer then paint, then laquer again?

i have the same seibon hood and i want to paint it just like yours...

1) Carbon hoods dont save weight unless they are the uber expensive pre-preg (dry carbon) >=$1500. Stock STI hood = aluminum

2) Its not carbon or a painted carbon hood. Its aluminized fiberglass, but they like to call it 'silver carbon'.

Hood actually weighs less, sorry. It also helps release the heat from the Engine bay, and we all know how hot these motors run.

Example:
If any of your friends have a CF hood go ahead and take a 15-30 minute ride in your cars, then go ahead and place your hand on his hood and then tough his

aluminum > cf. the only way CF will weigh less, is if (like stated) pre-preg dry carbon.

"street" carbon fiber hoods are 1 layer FRP, and then 1 top layer of carbon for the look. no weight savings at all with it.

BUT! it doesnt change the fact that the silver carbon does look pretty good on PSM, flows alittle bit better than the "HEY IVE GOT CARBON FIBER" look. I actually might have to look into something like that for mine once i start to want my car to look baller status. thats the only thing carbon fiber stuff is good for on a street car .

I have had 3 CF hoods - seibon, vis, kaminari... I'm surprised that those weigh less than the STI hood that weighs about 13.5 lbs on my postal scale. either way the reverse scoop is a fine idea for venting air.

observation skills arent your strong point. the seibon emblem/decal its a dead give away.

I like the hood, and I liked the matching scoop better than the reverse one. I don't like the tinted tails though.
