Default Alex's JDM Built STi Swap thread *updated Aug 31*

I figured I'd keep all my updates and everything on the boards here so I don't forget anything haha. Also it may be benificial to anyone else looking to do the swap

not much for pics right now.. just some parts waiting to go to good use

i'll go take some pics of the motor and tranny itself later tonight and update my progress.

sometimes money isn't everything.
the important question is:
cost < or > fun factor

cost well I got lucky.. got a hell of a deal on a ver4 RA motor and tranny. labour i'm good cause me and my friends are building it and as for parts, no joke 80% of them i'm getting off ebay

Started opening up the cylinder head today and just got confirmation on my arias pistons and eagle rods

also its not a question of worth or cost. when it comes down to it. the car i am building now has always been the car i wanted. my dream car would be complete if i could find decent 22b replica WRC body kit

if you're not worried about local, crawford performance has everything you should need...

or, have you tried rocetk rally? i don't know if they do have any, but it'd save you some shipping.

tora just mentioned that Rocket Rally will be a dealer for Crawford Performance engines...I don't know if that includes engine parts or not, but worth talking to the boys at RR about.
