Talking Drive Shaft Shop- 02-04 WRX Aluminum Drive Shaft

used and resurfaced by drive shaft shop. really helps the launch and top end driving.

For the R160 Rear 02-04 wrx's
Made from 6061-T6 aluminum the shaft is more torsional than the factory steel shaft and is about half the weight (stock is 21.6lb and ours is 12.6lb)this will free up rotating weight and being aluminum the tube will torsionally twist more (steel twists about 5 degrees and the aluminum twists about 20 degrees)it will save the drive train from those harmfull shock factors . Please visit Driveshaftshop.com for more details....

brand new they go for 450, i want $300.00 plus shipping
I have pics if needed! Thanks Again!

haha.... it was unbalanced then I sent it back because it scrapped a little. they resurfaced it cleaned the scrape up a lil its still there tho. I asked them many times if it was still good to go on the car. The owner of the drive shaft shop told me it was good to go back in my car. I used to work at a performance shop in chicago that sold Driver Shaft Shop products, I know it would have been a big mistake to say to put it back on the car if it wasn't really good to go back on the car. I would have stopped selling their parts if he lied to me... Check their site with the link on the top post i made....

it is good to go back on the car if you do the proper steps and mods to put it on... if you put in with the stock drive shaft sheild and dont pop up the floor a lil it will rub... its a one peice design... call drive shaft shop for more details on what you have to do to make it fit....

This is not the right place to ask a technical question. You should direct all technical questions you have to the technical sections.

Since you're new though I'll give you a hand. The solution to your problem is pretty simple; move everything that's in the way of the driveshaft out of the way. How? With a hammer. IIRC there are 2 areas where it'll rub: the sheet metal "folds" surrounding the e-brake cable grommets and the spot where the stock driveshaft joint bolts to.
