Arrow Motul Recommendation

I e-mailed Motul USA today for an oil recommendation:
Please recommend which Motul engine oil I should use for my car.

2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS with aftermarket turbo. The car is used as follows:
- Daily commute of 15 miles. Cold start from 0 degrees F in the winter.
- General fast road use--all back roads, almost never on the highway.
- 8-10 autocrosses per year.
- 8-10 track days/time trials per year. Approximately 3 hours of max boost, max rpm driving.

I do not care about manufacturers warrenty or fuel economy. I want maximum engine protection for track driving, while minimizing wear in everyday cold start, stop-and-go driving.
To which they responded:
We recommend that you use a low-viscosity 100% synthetic oil.

Our 300 V 5W40 (100% ester synthetic) will be #1 choice,(better for racing)

or 8100 E-Tech 0W40 (100% synthetic, with a lot of esters) would be my #2 choice (better for very low temperatures).
Another data point in the neverending search for the perfect motor oil...
