Lightbulb A Duh Moment brought to you by crashfx....

So I took a vacation day today, and decided that my poor scooby needed a wash (as those at the mini-meet on Monday can attest to).

I washed the outside windows with a glass cleaner and then proceeded to the inside. It took me 3 windows before I questioned why the heck my windows were so smudged?

Looking at the bottle, I had unfortunatly grabbed my new bottle of clear "Interior Protector and Gloss Coat" instead of my glass cleaner.

It took an hour of extra cleaning to get rid of the nice smudgy shine on the inside of the windows!

The moral of the story - pay attention to which bottle you use!!!

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.
The problem is that the bottles all look the same. It's easy to confuse one with the other.

Perfect solution?
Big Black Marker with "G L A S S" written on the side.
Works for me.

Yeah....the next time I detail my engine bay and area around the windshield wipers with Armour All (for that oh so nice shine) I'll be sure to cover my windshield with a towel. Over spray= streak heaven.

Or stop cleaning your glasses with the "Interior Protector and Gloss Coat".
