I want to get into photography. I have been using really really sucky small camera and want something better and I want to learn a little more about photography.
I am planning on buying -D70s slr body -Nikkor AF 3.3-5.6G 28-80mm lense -Nikkor AF 4-5.6 70-300mm lense -Battery and charger -Camera bag -USB cables -Video Cables -1GB memery card -nikon binoculars For $600 Is this a fair price for a camera that has been slightly used? Thanks Mike

For slightly used, that's pretty damn good. The normal D50 kit brand new costs $800 with a wide and telephoto. The only thing I'd be apprehensive about in that kit is that your wide angle isn't very wide at all. Thus, shooting indoors and/or in close quarters might prove a little challenging.

That's an awesome price. Everything there will be just fine if you're a beginner. As you shoot more, you'll figure out what equipment will suit you best.

Good start, but like Armin noted - the 28-80 isn't that wide. You may want to look at swapping that out later to something like the inexpensive Nikon AF-s 18-55mm. Good solid lens for usually less that $200 new or $100 used.
