Default Upgradable Question..

I have an 2002 WRX with a vf39 untuned (utec). In the near future (like a month or so) I plan on getting an EWG and WI. This is but a small part of a bigger plan for my car. Rather then sink all the money upfront I'm planning my upgrades in stages. After my EWG and WI I'll be putting an STi 6 speed. After that a 20g and injectors then finally a 2.5L. or maybe the 2.5L and then the turbo/inj.

I want to buy a WI that I can get tuned well for the vf39 (maybe just a single stage) but be able to upgrade as I upgrade my car.

Would it be best to buy a duel stage WI system now and get my vf39 tuned for it or buy a single stage and upgrade later with the new turbo?

Which kit would you recommend as the most friendlest upgradable kit?

Is a duel stage over kill for the small vf39?

I don't really see dual stage being needed for your future setup nor your current. I am making more power then you will likely make and I am running single stage with no problems. My vote is for snow performance kits but I am slightly biased

Lol@ slightly. I second the lack of need for a dual stage system even though it might help your engine perform better in certain situations then a single stage system.

Sweet.. Well thats good to hear. Saves money and less to worry about with upgrading. Now I just need to read a little more on pricing, tuning and failsafes for each system.

As far as I know, the only two systems with real failsafes are the aquamist and the snow systems. I think the failsafes from these companies can be used with any kit though.
