Default My new Car

Hey everyone

Just posting a pic of my new car. I'm now a proud owner of a 2000 GM6 and am very happy. The car is not perfect ( 7 years old stuff has to be fixed and maintained) but factoring everything in, I should be saving about $600 a month compared to my 05 stg 2 wrx. Below 4000 rpm my new car is more responsive and more fun to drive but at 4000rpm+ I can sure feel the 125 less hp. Anyway here's my baby

very cool, most people end up searching around for a loonnng time before they find a decent GC

is that one imported from the US? and are those 4-pot brakes or just painted calipers?

I like it. Before I bought my WRX, I was looking for a '00-'01 4 door impreza sedan with a 5-speed. All the cars I saw over a 6 month period failed in at least one of these criteria; there were many 5 speed wagons and auto sedans. In the end I "settled" on an '02 WRX that was priced very reasonably. It was also far from perfect, but with a little tinkering, most of the problems were completely fixed and the others don't really bother me. It's no beauty queen, but it does the trick.

Back on topic, I really like the look of your new ride.

Very nice, George.

GC Meet, stat!!1

I'm sure you will be very happy with your purchase, and your wife will be happy with the money you will be saving on the payments. It's a win/win.

This car is not from the US, it's a B.C only car. Sadly they are not 4 pots but I will be looking into getting a brake upgrade soon, I love good stopping power. I got real lucky for this one, a co-worker of mine bought it over a year ago and the first day I saw the car I found the owner and said " I want your car, if you ever sell it I will buy ". Well he had a baby 2 months ago and I ran into him again and jokingly said I would buy his car. He did not want to sell but he needed to get a car that the baby seat would fit into and I wanted a vehicle that did not cost as much. Now I can have my fun Suby and have money to buy a family vehicle

Going to my grandmas for dinner tonight.....Italian cuisine at its best. Last time I was over I set one of her hand made doilie mats on fire so I have to redeem myself.

Wow, she's pretty.

I hope someone at Subaru reads this and pushes for a coupe version of the next impreza. There aren't a lot of worthy GC chassis left for us former sedan owners.

Car looks great! The painted sideskirts and OEM lip gives it a really clean look. Its almost identical to my car. Did you keep the Gram Lights for your new GC?
