Default Global TV's story about West Vancouver PD's new ghost car.

They didn't show much of it, only the headlghts, tail lights...and what gave it away, the dash and Dodge symbol on the airbag.

Yeah...I think it's a black Dodge Charger.

If any of you guys are going to be in or around West Vancouverour, just be careful and watch your speed.

Thanks for the heads-up. I only was half-listening to the story and by the time I started to pay attention it was too late.

But if you just drive "normal" not "fast and furious" then it don't matter what ghost car the police are using.

Exactly.

At the same time, if a warning / beware post helps people slow down and be more careful or alert or aware of their speed, then it has the same effect essentially as getting a ticket without shelling out the dough.

I'm no angel on the road. For the most part, 99% of the time I believe that the way I drive would hardly raise an eyebrow, though there is that 1% when it's an open freeway and you feel like going 10km/h over the speed limit.

It's all about "situational awareness" and knowing what's around me when I drive. I've also learned to recognize the cars of all my neighbors who live within a block and a half radius .
