Default RallyX Mount Washington Sept 23/24

Supp regs are posted: http://members.shaw.ca/IRC_Island_Rallysport/IRC.html

Should be lots of runs for the bucks, plus get to sit down after and have a few beers and then be able to crawl back to the bed Saturday night.

Lets see the battle between the Subies, Civics, Toyotas and occasional Volvo wagons.....

Here's something that you may have missed in the Supps.: we NEED 12 workers or we won't be able to hold the event! So, if you can't enter or you have a friend who's interested, come out and work the event. That's 12 MINIMUM, each day! The more the better. We'll have more cars and more spectators and media there, we have to make it safe. Shared worker accommodation will be provided on the mountain. You will need to pre-register with me at gtrafford@shaw.ca. If we don't get a firm commitment from 12 workers by 15:00 September 20 2006 we will have to cancel!

Thanks,
Glyn

Any more people here up for 2 days of rallycross action? I *finally* have an open weekend to enter one (better late than never!).
There are threads going on revscene and specialstage too. For 2 sharing a car coming from Van, with entries, share a room, gas and ferries for about $250 each you'll get a lot of runs and tons of fun over the 2 days!!!
See you up there!

Nice! Be sure to email bart *AT* rallybc.com to give advance notice. This is a pre-register event. Details at www.rallybc.com
Click on the "Supp Regs" link and near the bottom of pg 2 are the formal registration instructions. Sept 20 is the official deadline so if you can't get your payment/entry in by then, email Bart to let him know it's coming.

Also, extra people who don't mind manning an FRS radio on the course are welcome too! Volunteers always needed. I believe lodging is reimbursed (or at least subsidized) for workers who can stay both days! Bart will have the info on this.

Yes, stop me from missing gates! If my friend Aaron bails, I'll need a co-driver most likely... although unneeded weight may be an issue in my 2.0L boat (Passat).

Co-drivers always welcome.

Interesting .... my Golf is on sport springs so spends more time at AutoX now. Also now used by co-driver ... Class 7 obtained this morning.

The Honda was by accident, the oldest daughter insisted on a Civic, the engine was eventually caput, so per Civic ways swapped in a V-Tec with deal that since I paid for swap when she bought a new car I got the Civic.

Once owned a Subie ... before anybody had Subies .... an 76-78?? wagon 4wd in about 1986 .... fun little car, too expensive to fix and starting to rust in bad spots.

If I could have afforded one I would have purchased a Subie in 2003: the Protege 5 gave better value.

Anyways, back to Rallyx ..................
