Default Tein H-Tech or Tein S-Tech

Which type is better for performance, look and quality for the 06 2.5i?

Can someone also tell me the advantages/disadvantages between coilovers and springs?

All input is welcome, pictures also (if possible). Thanks!

S-Techs will kill your stock struts but will slam your car to the ground (worse handling FTL)
H-Techs are slightly less worse on the struts and slightly less slammed

(It's been covered a million times by the way, browse the suspension forum for your answers)

Don't use either. Go with something that won't kill your struts ( at least as quickly as the teins) like the prodrives, swifts, or what I have, the sti pinks. To much drop just isn't cool.

The STi pinks? Where can I get those? Do you have any pictures?

4get what you heard....

I've got the Tein S~tech Coilovers... Yea my car is currently On the ground. The ride is beautiful. The front set to 11 and 14 in the rear. Now I'm a daily driver, which travels 40 miles to and from work and besides that I drive from VA to NY twice a month. The ride is tight. Thats what I wanted you may want a softer ride.

Well do your search... Check out Big Ron's Thread ; http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=920405

Good luck

Mike

Prodrive FTW. One of my favorite mods.

It wont have that ultra low look of the s-techs. But will ride GREAT.

Goto the members galleries. You can find pics of any car with any mod. The prodrives will even out the fender gap really nicely but doesnt slam the car. Thats what I was looking for, some people want more drop then that.

Good luck..

Dont get the stechs... I have them on mine at the moment. They look really good but will own your struts.

Looking to switch to some coils or v8 suspension.

Tein H-Techs:

btw, those aren't the colours of my rims.
The colour was photo chopped.
That's the colour I want to paint my rims. (What colour would you say that is?)

Anyways, that's what it'll look like with H-techs.

Cheers.

That's wonderful advice; it has a whole lot to due with the question that was asked. Here isn't the place to debate prodrive vs swift vs SPT vs Tein, there are already a million threads about them in which a person who bought X spring praises X spring and Y spring praises Y spring.. but not here buddy, stick to the question asked.
