Default Racing seat with stock seat belt?

I was wondering if you can bolt inthe stock seat belt latch for the WRX/2.5 when you upgrade to a racing seat, or do you have to go all out and get a 4 point or 6 point belt.

thanks
Ryan

Yeah, you can still use the stock seat belts. You got new seats, Ryan? Can't wait to see them!

Default You can use both

My seat mounts/subframes came with a mounting location for the inboard seatbelt connector. Some don't.

The seats work just fine with the stock belts though.

sure you can..
it's not very safe...
the seat belt will not perform as it was intended as it no longer sits where it's supposed to on your body...

but it's better than nothing -

Could you un bolt the lower seat belt anchor, run it through the belt hole, then bolt it back up? Then you could buckle the belt through the hole on the other side, and it would properly. Unless I am missing something.

edit: Tried to add attachment pic..doesn't work like that.New post..

Just un bolt at the yellow circle, run the part indicated by the red line through the path idicated by the blue line, and re-bolt at yellow circle. Would that do the trick?

Unless you are a big person...then this idea of Impressives will not work. The seats are too restrictive/forming to work for everyone.

Also. Do not anchor yor seat belts to the same bolt locations as your seats.

Ryan Plum:

What model of seats are those? They look great! Where did you buy them and how much do they cost? Are they comfortable for long car rides? Thanks for the info!
