Default gaah! flat tire need helpy!

Hey all,

So yeah... reading around looking for some good tires but since I have actually met some of you clowns I would prefer your guys advice.

***********Situation:*********** Currently have Toyo T1R tires on my STI... MINUS ONE after I hit a piece of metal... or something... so one of my tires is nuked beyond repair.

The other 3 have about 60% tread life on them. So... I suppose that means I should get a new set of 4.

I am going out to Miller on friday and want/need a set of summer tires that would be good for an aspiring track newbie.

Anybody? Suggestions on tires? (new/used... w/e) could I get a used/similarly warn toyo t1R tire? Any of you have anything that you could sell to finish out fall? (going to get all seasons or winters for... winter)

*sigh* what should I do?

Whats your budget? I just bought the kumho ecsta 512. Good for the price, out performs the yoko avs 100's in most tests, plus has better wear than Falken rt615's. The rt615's would be the stickiest street tire though. Wear sucks on them. I would have bought the 615's but I commute alot so I didnt want to haft to replace my tires in a year..

All season I have the toyo proxes 4. There pretty good handling tires for an all season.

The dunlop's have alot of road noise. Is that price qoute you got for rt615's?? Not a bad price at all. I paid 430 with tax mounted and balanced for my kumho's and that was with a friend hook up at discount.
