Up pipe or not to up pipe?

Hey guys, not sure if i should go with a catless uppipe yet or not. What do you think, 06 TR, TBE, k&n drop-in, will be tuned soon. Who has replaced it? and was there a noticable increase in power with minor mods??

Do it. It's a rite of passage in the Subaru community. Just have some tin snips and/or an O2 sensor wrench handy. Cheap mod and you don't have to worry about the pre-turbo cat anymore.

06's are catless already. Idea- get an uppipe with a high flow cat. I had one on my 06 and it was great.

no cat on the 06 up pipe, don't get a new one unless you plan on doing some major power upgrades.

If I were you I'd get an aftermarket up pipe and give me your stock one.

Dont need a upipe for the 06 until you plan on getting a bigger turbo

I would say, just to sum up, seeing as how this thread has gone way off track. Your set with your uppipe. That is if you have an 06'. Because as I hear it, 06's dont have a cat in their uppipes like other subaru impreza wrx's of previous years. But I would swap it out anyway...can never be too sure.
