No. I personally witnessed him wear it under his helmet at the autox last weekend.

True Story.

p.s. You should send additional hats.

I am very sad to report that Chewy the shop cat is no more.

While I was out in San Diego I got a call from Mrs. TiC that Chewy was crying, came to find her, and was vomiting. She took him to the vet where they hydrated him, and pulled a blood sample. Upon testing of the sample they found that his kidneys had ceased functioning.

They were able to determine from a urine sample that it was not antifreeze. While this was good news it left us wondering what the problem was. A few days after returning home I took him for fluids again, and another blood test. The results were not good, and he continued to go downhill during the week.

We decided that despite this we were going to give it one more try so Saturday morning he and I rode over in the STi for one last round of hydration. While he was still rather listless he did still perk up when I called his name and pet him.

Sunday evening, while packing orders, he came downstairs for find me. I believe he came to say good-bye. As he and I sat there, in the chair he usually sleeps in while I'm working, I could tell his condition was deteriorating, and really thought he was going to go during the night.

He did not. After much petting, cuddling, crying, and lamenting over the fact that he and Alex (TiC Jr.) were supposed to grow up together and be great buddies, Mrs. TiC and I made the decision that it was time for him to go.

This morning we went by the vet, and had him put down. It was heartbreaking to do so, but really it was for the best, and I can only hope that he did not suffer. After he went to sleep we brought him home, and this evening he will be buried between the apple and cherry trees out back so he can always watch over his turf.

I know that in the past he was kind enough to do some shipping, and send out some goodies to folks. Please cherish those parts, and know that he was a lot of fun helping us in the shop during installs, and helping to ship parts.

I completely empathize, TiC. It's never fun to see a kitty go.

I will really miss him. He was the coolest and most badass cat ever. He was a hunter and very tough.

I have to give Clint & Tony the absolute highest thanks and respects for everything they do.

They are helping me get my small 1-man company called WC LATHE WERKS up and running, helped me find a very small niche in the custom shift knob market for Subies, and offer the best support and information anyone could ask for!

.. we'll see what happens in Singapore ....

Sorry for your loss.

Do you think it might be that bad pet food they've been recalling as of lately?
