JDM STi gauge cluster in 2000 RS?

I own a 2000 Impreza RS and recently aquired a JDM STi gauge cluster for this car. The problem is I thought it would be plug and play and it's not. There is no place on the JDM cluster for the RS harnesses. The only potential plugs on the JDM cluster look slightly different than the RS's, although they are in the same general location. Has anyone done this seemingly easy conversion? Is there a conversion harness? What do I need to do? Help!

the cluster u have is probably a Version 4 STI cluster. there is a DIY on scooby mods for it. supposely the cluster plugs from a 98 RS are the same.
