Default Virginia Beach peeps

Hey guys,

We need to have us a little get together sometime. There's at least six of us around here that are on the board, and many more driving around clueless about it. Maybe we could get together some weekend and go Subaru hunting?

Hey LA,

Have we met? I'm the Silver RS with the unpainted Greddy front lip and Yakima roof rack. Are you the guy that I talked to at the Amoco, or the guy with Street Fuzion?

tdman,

This is a Subaru club, WRXs are always welcome.

I didn't really have a time in mind. I was kinda thinking we could all show up this Friday or Saturday with all the import guys that meet off of Va beach blvd at midnight. There are usually a couple other WRXs there. I don't know, just a thought.

Sorry to hear about your car man, where were you when it happened?

I'm friends with Frank also. He's the one that got me into I-club also.
So that means that there's at least three BRP RSs in the area.

Courtney,
This weekend might end up being a little tough for me. If anything, I could maybe squeeze out tonight.

It may be short notice, but how about tommorrow night (Saturday). My girlfriend is going out with some of her friends, so I'm planning on going out to meet up with the "Midnight Club" people. Anybody else interested?

Hope you locals are still reading this thread.
I missed it or otherwise I would have met up with you guys.

Didn't check this forum until I got out of my Rex tonight and saw a hooked up one at the light...ran across traffic...it was Phooka...nice to meet you !

I sent a couple emails out, but I thought we could all get each others email address' to keep in better contact.

I'm going to the "Big Meet" on the 18th.

Hey Rob,

Do you have a wagon by chance? I saw a nice WRB Wagon coming off of 264 onto Lynnhaven the other day with some rims, he waved, anybody know him?
Dale and I live in the same neighborhood, there is also a Silver WRX back in the neighborhood somewhere but haven't talked to them yet. License plate says LV2DZIN.

Since you're going to the BIG MEET, want to caravan up? I'll be leaving around 9:00 that morning.

I don't have the wagon.
WRB lowered and I'm running my 16's right now. Sometimes I run my 18's. If you can notice I have BPM exhaust and white gauges, other than that no stickers or anything.
Where abouts are you guys...I live in Buckner Farm...right behind TCC.
I met one dude with a Red WRX, but he wasn't pressed.
I met another guy in Team UltraSpeed, his is silver and he's running gold color rims.
I will leave for the big meet on Saturday, I'm staying with friends overnight in the Baltimore area, so I guess I won't be part of the caravan.

Yah.. first time I ever had somebody run across three lanes of traffic (south independence) to say "hey!".

We should plan a va beach get together sometime - I'd say my house would be fine, parking is somewhat limited though . Apparently several of us live over here near pa road. I live back in Rock Creek near the 7/11 across from TCC. We can swap lies and compare mods and future mods..

I might be hanging with this dude on Saturday who wants me to join his club. He's got a Civic SI.
He's got a few people in his crew, one dude is running a civic with 13psi boost !
Anyway, he wants me to cruise to NN that night. Either way this weekend is pretty open for me.

BTW Dale I want to talk to you about your unichip

The guy in the Silver WRX is Edward, he seems like a bit of a showoff to me. Either that or he had just got his new BOV the day that I saw him last. That's all you heard as he drove off at five miles an hour. He also had one type of rim on the right side, and a different type on the left side that night.

Hey Dale,
Have you seen the Silver WRX in our neighborhood? The license plates say LV2DZIN

We could always have a little meet at Hometown Heros, the bar right next to the 7/11. We should drive around and hunt down other RS and WRXs in the area.

Rob,
What club is asking you to join?

Noperz. I have seen very few WRX's.. there is a stock blue one @ my work place - I have yet to figure out who it belongs to... that's the only un-id'd one I have seen really.

Never been in there before.. they seem to do a pretty good business. I hate tight parking lots though.. paranoid with no door trim

Well we could always park at your house and walk there and stumble back. I've been in there a couple times. They have pretty good appetizers, darts, pool, and that trivia game with the big keypads for the TVs (if you know what I mean).

Just leave a note on the WRX at your work.

Hey LA,

That wasn't you I waved at tonight coming onto Lynnhaven from 264 or that other road and heading towards Va Beach BLVD at about 5:00, was it? We haven't set a date yet, so you might be able to come to something.

Edward has a TurboXS atmospheric BOV...I'm not hip on the atmostpheric ones...I'm more performance oriented.
I met him at the TEKTOYS import car show last weekend at Tallwood. We talked a bit.

I was at Hometown Heroes watching the game last weekend.

The club...dude is in a club named Import Racing Development
I guess the club is splitting and he's taking the active memebers and making his own club...thinking about a name like Pro Racing Development or something, they are meeting next weekend to discuss. They are also going to try and include domestics. He wants a "team" cars that are good at 1/4 e.t and cars that are good at autocrossing...why not have some cars that are good at Rallying too

I think I'm going to join and bring my friends with me too, if I join a club I just want the people to be cool (hate stuck up people) and the cars all have to be nice. You see some of these clubs around with busted up looking cars...I'm not down with that.

Ah yes, IRD. I had there president (Andy) try to race me in his force inducted and gutted Civic. Unfortunately, he couldn't keep up with me. But when he caught up with me he asked me to pull over and we talked for a bit. I gave him my number and told him that if he was interested in Having a Subaru in the club to give me a call........ he never did. A few of them work at AIMD with me, so I did a little research. It seems that they're a bit unorganized and try to one-up the others in the club. It didn't sound like much unity.

Just my take on IRD.
