Default I need more HP, but how?

I am the proud owner of a 98 2.5rs and I like most enthusiests are on a never ending quest for more power and this brings me to my question, how exactly can I achive more horse power (without NOS) and keep it N/A?

here are the mods I already have:
borla headers/ header back exhaust with cat removed
underdrive crank pulley
port & polished heads
larger crank
weapon R short ram intake
lightend fly wheel
short shifter

thanks for the help...

Cams! That's probably your best bet. Cams seem to lead to huge gains, from what I've read.

Also, switch the Borlas out and get a good, equal-length exhaust. The Borlas are just noise-makers.

What he said.
Check out delta cams.

Your next step after that is an engine management of some kind

I apreciate the help guys but theese up grades are far too costly for what Im wanting to achive, cams are at least $600 then another few hundred to have someone drop them in and equal lengths sheesh I just dont see payin anywhere from $500-800 for minimal gain. But about the engine mangement has anyone used a SAFC on an N/A car? if so what kind of results did you get and is it worth it? My biggest concern is throwing money away because I do intend on installing a turbo as soon as I get about $5,000 to drop on it and I have thought about cams but whats the point in spending that much when your only getting like 15 maybe 20 hp at the most then when I go forced induction they'll be obsolete...

Well almost anything you do now will be pointless if you are planning on going turbo.

That said, OBX makes Cobb replica headers for about $300. They are good quality stainless steel. You can do a search for Pat Olsen's dyno sheets on here. He made very solid numbers with these, I'd hardly say minimal.

I got them recently and it has been by far the biggest power-maker I have done. (after catback, cobb cai, lightened crank pulley, pro ecm)

Sorry bro, but you are at that point where it costs that much to get ANY gains...

Speaking of throwing money away, go ahead and do a turbo kit on the 2.5...

about the turbo kit yeah I know total waste of money, I mean the only way I see it working is if you pull the block and drop in some low compresion pistons and then you still have to worry about the whole open-deck issue and you'll have some jo lap engine management come with your kit. How much will you have invested in it by then? at least $2,000 in the kit $800 in pistons and no telling how much for labor Im thinking some where in the $1,500 range if your lucky and thats installing the turbo kit yourself... I'd much rather just do it right the first time and invest a little more time and money than a quick fix that'll last about 6 months before a rod blows through your block.
