True true. Most likely I will only be using the longblock and reusing all my other stuff.

Does anybody have any information about
EJ207DW6CR? Would like to know as much as i can about this engine. Thank you people in advance.

Basically my car belongs to Sedan WRX STI 2003 V-LIMITED
Engine code listed it as an STi ONLY. But from what I see from this table and what the dealer from Car Do Tachikawa said and assured me that it's a Spec C. The internals are all the same as an Spec C. So what is my car actually? A Spec C or just an STi ?

Well, if you have additional info, it helps to list it.
And fill your info, so we are better able to help you.
Are we talking about a complete car here, where you're looking at the medallion and comparing engine code with chassis code, or are you only in possession of the engine?
Do you have the capabillity to look at the donor car?

from what i found on other sites,:

The V-Limited comes with the following as stock:
-3 Fujistbo Cutback Exhaust system
-Spec-C adjustable damper suspension (which was replaced by Tein coilovers)
-Some adjusted suspension settings.
-V-Lip (which is originally taken from this car the V-Limited)
-Rear V-side lips (or rear bumper side skirts V-limited dress up)
-Spec-C roof vent
-Spec-C 5 genome gauges/controller (they are actually Deify but in Japan they are call genome)
-V-Limited badge on read trunk and in cabin.

also there should be a designated stamp somewhere for the issue number up to 555.

5# I dont have this.

My V9 is running an TD05-EVOIII 16g 10sq cm twinscroll. I've posted a dyno in this thread, you just have to go back couple pages, done with Ecutek Road dyno.
The cartridge is FP.
-I have a grimmspeed 3 port BCS, but Clark is right about the stock BCS being able to handle everything fine. This replaced my prodrive, which was sub-standard.
-APS inlet tube
-AEM CAI with dryflow and KStech big maf tube 73mm
-GRB Sti TMIC, supported with the Spec C autowash feature
-A good ammount of insulation on the turbo including wrapping and turbo blanket
-KillerB oil pickup (the JDM OEM is the same part number as the troublesome USDM Sti, for the twinscroll engines)
-Pink 700cc JDM injectors, Walbro 255

Some small stuff other than this, here and there, Prodrive exhaust, etc.

To me the V limited is a twinscroll car. Take a look at the turbocharger front "plate". If it's marked Vf36, you have a Spec C.
Also, I think someone from UK posted with a Limited as a Spec C.

Quick questions: Do you have the 12 liter waterspray tank and the black trunk brace?

I'll try to post a link to that.

Edit, here it is:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2249911

This was a 2003 Sti Spec C limited, however.

Can I ask you where you got the table you posted? Because it seems like the dates on the table go by manufacture, not by year model. I'd like to take a look at the whole thing.

You can view the tables here,

http://freedownload.is/xls/jdm-5463612.html

I can't see any of the photos in the thread...

Just checked on the stock turbo removed from my car. I have a VF36 BUT I do not have the 12 liter tank at the trunk. So whats now? Im very very confused..

I know, the guy removed them.

I'll compare the info, but the V-limited should be a 2004 model manufactured in 2003, while the 2003 model line-up only had a limited, but not a V-limited. The limited was a spec C.
There seems to be a different ECU part number for the V-limited than for the Spec C and Spec C limited.

Edit: Ok, I know this table and it does include year model as well.

There wasnt much people who knew about this particular version that I'm driving.
So it's all kinda hit or miss for me.

I asked the sales person right before I bought this car at one of the biggest dealership in Japan for Subaru. And he assured me it's a Spec C cum STi with a special version rolled out in commemoration of some stupid event.

If I were to find out its not a Spec C now. I would go back there tomorrow immediately to **** his ass. After 2 years of driving. lol.

I do have a VF36 BUT NO rear trunk intercooler. Oh man, my head hurts...

Does anyone know where I can pick up a V7 ECU? I have a Mine's right now but after repeated, long correspondences with them, I got no where. This ECU is great but you can't do anything with it, not even pull logs. Help please?

Damn, everyone PMs him. I did too. I'm trying to figure out if I want to deal with the immobilizer stuff with a V9. get a minty v8, or go for an older v7 for the forged internals.

I will be close to around 400whp. Not sure if the v8 or v9 can take it without the pistons knocking.

Looks like I might be going V9 with a V8 ecu, so I won't need to deal with the immobilizer stuff.

I know the v7 has forged pistons but the v8+v9 are better overall engines due to heads and other things.
