Anyone know if the OCV solenoid is the same on a vers 8/9 as any other usdm model or do I need to special order a part?

Thanks!

5.99 CAD = 6.09 $ USD per gallon. Do the math.

I call it rape fuel.

Last week I filled @ 1.68 CAD / L for 94 oct.

Lol! petrocan FTL I find shell 91 vpower is a lot more consistant since it doesnt contain any ethanol!

"all shell gasoline products contain atleast 10% ethanol"

Quoted from my local gas station.

I still ONLY get shell gas though. Definetly better than rutters.

About fuel pressure regulators:

V7, (rev A & B) had the same part number with USDM WRX, EJ255 and rev F EJ257. This is on the passenger side (right US).
V8 & 9 (rev C-G) have the fpr on the driver's side (left US). There is no US equivalent for this.

Clark was posting a long time ago that some OEM regulators provided increased static fuel pressure, by 10 PSI.
At the time he was writing about a deeper dimple and sti mark.

Clark, which side of the engine were the uprated fpr that you found, was it the driver's side (left US) configured regulator?

You are out of fuel now. Upgrading the turbo would make matters worse.

mrxr250rider!:
i got 800 cc injectors for sale. A dom1.0xtr or something would bring good gains. just need a set of larger injectors! fuel pump should be good for a lot more power!

ill keep that in mind. injectors, plus turbo plus install would prob cost alot though so maybe in the future. i put down 298whp/264tq with 18psi and going back for a 21psi tune. i had a weak coil pack before. 330whp would be nice

what kinda dyno you putting those numbers down on? i am arond 300whp right now at 20psi but i had it taper off up top so i didnt push the vf37 too hard. honestly i dont know what kinda psi pushes this turbo too hard. I need to track down a compressor efficiency map and see what it shows.

just install the parts yourself and save the money. its super easy to do. first time you could prob do a turbo and injectors in three hours.

Picked this up today...

Dom 1.5XTR

Looking forward to seeing how it does on my V7 EJ207 swap.

Couple of questions before i begin the turbo swap:
1) Does the V7 EJ207 have that stupid oil filter sitting in the banjo bolt that clogs? For the life of me, I cant remember if I took care of this while I was doing the swap.
2) Does the EJ207 use the STI or WRX oil feed line? Im 99% sure its the STI line but I'd like to be sure. I have both (Blouch uses the same line, just different fittings on one end) but want to know in advance.

Thanks in advance.

Please keep us updated on your progress. I want that turbo.

1. probably has filter but I think it was figured out earlier in the thread.
2. STI type.

Yeah. I'll post up the results when I get it tuned.

Thanks. I'll check the banjo bolt for the filter just in case.
