Cool pic, but dangerous manuever there. When I used to off-road with my Jeep we were always told never to fly through pudles as the power of the spray can get into nasty little parts of your engine and cause some serious damage. Hope yours is ok.

If you have a Primitive skid plate it's not a huge deal hitting puddles/streams like that and long as you maintain forward velocity. I've found that the car actually hydroplanes over stuff like that with the skid plate. Water spray only gets into the engine bay in small amounts on the sides. The engine stays pretty dry. Of course if it is a deep deep puddle or very long then you are screwed anyway.

Lucien,
Yep, all stock except for an adjustable rear bar, RE730s, and a Rallispec custom short shifter.

@ Summit point I added SS brake lines and Valvoline brake fluid. good stuff.

Mike

The car definately needs some suspension. I'm waiting for KYB to make struts for the MY00+ rears. I think that they are different from the pre MY00s rear struts.

I was going to go whole hog and get springs and struts, but with all the city driving my car has to endure, I ain't too sure I want to drop it. I just don't know how well aftermarket struts will work with OEM springs.

At VIR, same event as Mike2000GT:

That was on the stock suspension with 18mm rear bar.

At Watkins Glen in May:

That's on the DMS Golds.

Unfortunately, I don't have any good pictures of the car in street trim on the DMS Golds - it looks so much better riding 1" lower than stock. I just acquired a set of used UK 17" WRX wheels which should make it look even bettah!

I emailed you with a questino that I have about the Morettes. I am trying to figure out what the two small flat black plastic pieces that came with my lights are for. Thanks!
