Cool 79 brat parts painting!!!

ok people... big choices to be made...

it's coming close in time (like... couple months) to start painting components on the car... mainly trans, diff, springs, brakes... all those goodies...

gonna make the car blingy...

so what colour(s?) should i paint them??? perhaps not paint some things? dunno!

i want to paint the car a dark blue for reference (with white brat decals!)...

what do you think?

Black and/or silver or a combination of the two always looks clean.

flat black. of course.

That wheel bearing wasn't a wheel bearing at all. The axle nut was loose. Doh.

haha it seems the general idea is pink with you people...

and i guess i could do that... STi pink for the springs...

however i don't really want pink brakes and deffinatly not an engine bay full of pink... that'll make my car more of a joke then it already is... a bright pink diff might be kinda awesome though...

i kinda like the black/yellow/green combo...

and andy! that is a simple fix eh!!? lets hope you didn't toast the wheel bearings in the process of driving with the axle nut loose...

and i was actually debating painting the car flat black while i do the body work... then i can do it bit by bit until i'm ready for a real paint job!

cast iron grey, black, and silver ftw!
