The STi has two huge handling advantages over other Imprezas from the factory: -Tires -Diffs The tires one is easy to fix. Takeoff RE070's are cheap and plentiful. The diffs, not so easy. Basically, any suspension you end up with is a tradeoff of some kind, with ride quality, responsiveness, ride height, suspension independence, suspension travel, etc etc all being factors. If you want your car to handle well here is a decent starting place: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=680651 Short answer: driver, tires, alignment, suspension mods, in that order ![]() But in order to give you better advice we need things like, your budget, your tolerance for iffy ride quality, what you use the car for, etc etc. john |
