Rice is a term that is whored out more than a naked Dalton hanging out on Main and Hastings. Rice is whatever people want it to mean, and as such I laugh at those who use it in a serious sense.

"ooooh, that car is rice" =

haha smarta$$! Not ALL of them are racecars...but most of the early pics are either RE Amemiya RX-7 time attack/circuit racers, or D1GP drift cars....hence the sponsors!

looks like they stuck a rear spoiler up front, I would instead get 2 miniature military style jet engines aimed downwards so that when used, the thrust produced will push the front end of the car down to give crazy amounts of grip

HIT TEH AFT3RBURNARZ YO!

Take away the gaudy colors and excess graphics and a lot of those cars are nice. I've always liked the third gen Rx-7's and MKIV supras.

Why would you put a rear wing on a drift car?

What is your preference? White or Brown rice? Short or long grain?

Supposedly for stability in the corners and downforce actually. These cars actually use sticky rubber, relying on suspension setup and alignment to get sideways....not low downforce or bald crappy tires. They want high grip and downforce to get predictable oversteer, and loss of traction at the limit.

But at what speeds? Is the downforce from a wing even appreciable?
