GC8 Morettes HID install problem! Need Help

Ok here's the list of questions!

1, For you all that have GC8 morettes with HID, how do you wire your system? Now, i only have the low(HID) and when i hit high or fog there is nothing.

Eventually, i want to do the wiring mod that my low(HID) will stay on when i hit the high. Perhaps, my fog will be on with the high too!

2, when I turn on the engine, and start to drive the HID came on itself. I can't turn it off, but if i stop my car (engine's running) i can turn it off.
So, what's the problem? Why can't i turn off the HID when i am driving?
Is it anything about the DRL?

3, How do you adjust your system? Is you bulbs come with a steel plate for better focus? I got flashed and some 18 wheelers tailgate me on the hwy last nite, scary:monkey:

4, I notice that my highbeam light on the dash was on even it wasn't.
The light on the fog button is gone, and the green light on the A/C is gone too, why?

Any suggestions or ideas will be greatly appreciated

I know you know this kind of stuff pretty well!

BTW, have you figure out the HIGH stay on mod on the morettes yet?

i installed/wired mine up according to North Ursalia's directions... then i put in the HIDs and everything is fine...

i adjusted mine by spinning the white notch behind the headlight...

i can keep the lows and highs on at the same time with the fog lights by positioning the lever halfway between highs and lows... [i did it on accident at first

] really bright btw! especially with the HIDs!

I have everything in my head, but won't be able to put it into practical application till I get my car back.

Sanders, I'm trying to bypass that whole relay thing for the highs/lows, so you don't have to try to keep the stalk halfway.

But, how do you wire the high's? and do you have problem with your fog?

I don't have highs and fogs for now! my wiring must be wrong.

Excuse my ignorance but are HID's the exact same or close to Xenons

DRL acts on the e-brake, so with e-brake down, your HID will come up. I would love to hack the DRL wiring so that it will drive the inner pair, but apparently it's complex enough that no one has messed with it.
