I drove up to Guardsman pass tonight

I wanted to try out the new Kuhmo's I slapped onto my lady's LGT. They were awesome in the snow. We marked the temperature in the high forties while we were still on Fort Union -- it was 33 and snowing heavy by the time we got to the top....I bet it will be all gone by the day time on Saturday.

I stepped out of the car when we were near Brighton and it was about three inches deep on the roadway. I made some snowballs and threw them at the car....what a great night!!!!

Now I just need to find a set of cheap rims for the STI to have some tires to switch out for the winter-- what are any of the STI guys running for snowy winters around here?

I was out being a travelling lecture guy--- I was dying inside knowing you guys were posting all the fun stuff about the trips and the cool roads. I knew I wasn't going to be able to make it ... I tried to kill the thought in my mind, like chewing off the foot that stuck in the bear trap. It didn't work, I still mised the fun when I was gone.

My sanity can't afford for me to miss another one (driving/meet)...I will attend, I think I need to investigate some winter shoe options for the STI so I can make it up and down the mountains with out turing into a wad of metal...I actually searched and read a couple of your posts and the suggestions you had for your STI.

How have you been recently? I miss just meeting up with people for a night of BS'ing and fun drives. I couldn'ty look at the mountains anymore tonight and not go at them with a vengence...So I loaded my gal into the car at 1am and we headed up the canyon!!! It was fun!!!

I picked them up at Costco.

Leg WGN was sold a little while to a lucky guy who got a steal of a deal because I was leaving for teh UTAH!!!!!

I ditched it with all the goodies with the exception of the SSR Comps that are now on the LGT.

We drove up the pass through the little cottonwood pass and then hit up some crazy trail with these new tires... it was incredible-- these tires are unstoppable. We were in slusha and ice up to the axels...no slowing us down. It was about 25 ferenheight(spelling nazis need not apply) on the trail-- and way too much fun. We even stoped for the October fest in Snowbird...it was awesome.
