Default Uh so... Where is the Hella 500 foglight ground connection???

Well Im trying to wire up my Hella 500's right now... I'm using the wiring kit that came with the lights because my '95 does not have any stock foglight wiring and im a poor bastard so i'm not buying OEM stuff for it.

Anyway, I have the switch mounted fine, and the foglights mounted fine, now I'm doing the wiring... And I need major help since I'm a wiring n00b (most complicated wiring ive done was a ABS switch)

In every write up i've read, people say there is a ground for the Foglights... However there is only one wiring coming out of the foglights???

Also, does anyone have a simple explaination of what wire goes where for this kit WITHOUT doing the whole OEM wiring thing??? I know the red wire goes to power, but after that it gets confusing... I have them hooked up to the Hella relay as per instructions, so its just a matter of which wire goes where now.

Also, what about the switch? Where do I plug the OTHER two connects for the switch into? I know one is a ground, and one goes to a 12v source (whatever that means) but after that im just confused.

Oh and I dont want a Wiring 101 lecture, just how to install this kit so I can go to work tommorow with functioning foglights...

Wiring diagrms + me = useless

Anyway, I have it all hooked up minus the switch... I cant figure out which wire to tap for the "lowbeams" and should I use a vampire connector for the switch ground or just ground it somewhere?

The stalk wires do look kind of small... But I have to use something under the dash. Where does the headlight wire go?

....man....if I had the fsm/wiring diagram fer that car....the stalk wires go to the factory solenoid which switches the lights on/off so ya don't have hi current wiring in the cabin

typically.....the wire that powers the lowbeam is tapped to switch the solenoid for the fogs---power to the lowbeam light turns the fogs on....which are usually grounded through the body of the light and the mounting bolt of the light to the body.......and subaru uses a funky switched ground that can make ya crazy if ya not used to 'thinking' that way

I really can't do too much from here for ya ....

Well I finally gave up and ran the switch all the way to the driver side headlight red wire...

And now it all works

Thanks for the help
