Default Anyone just leave the Timing cover off?

Anyone here take off the timing belt cover? is it needed? I know it keeps dirt out and stuff but has anyone done this. Thanks

NEVER leave it off if your driving the car for more than about 5 mins. The oil seals behind the cover will get dirty, and all...

Unless you are jsut testing the car, the belt will wear alot faster.
